It’s not about coffee!!
Can you believe it?? We are DONE at the Edwards Center. No more services there!!! This is awesome! I want to remind you that even though we are going to be busy learning our jobs and getting ready for the opening services this whole event is not about coffee. It is not about learning to make it, carry it, stock the sugar and do all the “tasks” that we are going to be practicing. This is about souls. Eternal souls.
Every person you meet and deliver a cup of coffee to has an eternal soul. Most we meet will have already settled where their soul will spend eternity but many will have not. Look into their eyes and when God prompts you, tell them the truth. Tell them that God loves them and do it by your actions. St Francis said that “We should share the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words”. I agree that most of our message will be carried by our actions but when necessary, use words. Pray for people and let them know you care. This is a ministry of service and at times we will get overwhelmed with all we have to do. When you get to that point, stop. Stop and ask that God will give you someone to pray for while you are doing.
