What do you love to do? Would you love to do it in heaven?
More on the book I’m reading. It occurred to me today that in heaven I am going to get to ride motorcycles. I am going to get to travel where I want and enjoy God’s creation as it was intended to be. I am going to get to eat and fellowship with my friends and those that will become my friends and do all the the things I love to do here without the encumbrances of sin and trouble and all the things that make life hard.
Now, if you don’t agree with me about heaven (yet :)) that is ok because this is just a beginning for me to understand what the author is trying to tell us but my understanding is that we will be phyical bodies in a physical NEW EARTH that is joined to a NEW HEAVEN and God will be among us like he was with Adam and Eve in the original Earth. We will have access to the Tree of Life and will live forever.
That is the big picture and I am going to back up a bit and share some of the scriptures to back this up so stay tuned. I am excited about this because it finally makes sense to me. I am not going to be floating on a cloud with a harp and I am going to experience all that God has planned for me. How cool is that??
