Heaven. What do you think it looks like?
I have been reading a great book. Randy Alcorn wrote a book simply called “Heaven”. He takes a look at scripture that points us toward a vision of heaven and what we can expect when we get there. We are getting there aren’t we? If you don’t know for sure you are going to heaven when this life is over the good news is that you can be sure. 1 John 5:13 says “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.”
So, if you don’t know for sure you are going to heaven then we need to talk. I want to make sure you know you are going because I am going to be telling you a little about where we are going. If you think it is clouds and harps you will be surprised. I also have to admit that I was afraid that it was going to be a really long church service and I glad to find out it will not be that either. We will be worshiping the One but He has plans for us and I am sure you will be surprised by some of them. Stay tuned.
